SLUGCARD- UCSC Student ID Card

Submit your photo for your UCSC SlugCard in the Slug Orientation June Course.

SlugCard is your passport to all things slug. The SlugCard:

  • is the official UC Santa Cruz photo identification card.
  • is active only when students are enrolled and have paid for the quarter.
  • is part of the student record.
  • identifies the cardholder as a UC Santa Cruz student to all faculty and staff at UCSC, and other UC campuses. Present your Slug Card when visiting campus offices and when requested by University staff.
  • is also your library card.
  • is your bus pass for city buses.
  • gives you access to physical education and recreation facilities.
  • is your dining hall card (if you have a meal plan).
  • is your entry access to on-campus housing facilities.

A government-issued photo ID (ex. Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID, etc.) is required to pick up your SlugCard in September during move-in/Fall Welcome Week.
