Continue to stay on track, and meet all of your deadlines.
- Submit your SIR (Statement of Intent to Register) by the deadline via MyUCSC
- Meet your Conditions of Admission
- Upload your SlugCard photo via CloudCard
- Follow the instructions carefully to get your photo approved
- Fully complete the Orientation Course
- To be able to enroll in classes, complete the orientation process
- Confirm receipt of Official Transcripts to Admissions no later than July 1
- Confirm receipt of Official Test Scores to Admissions no later than July 15
- Take the Directed Self-Placement (DSP) in Part 1 of the Slug Orientation Course
- Log in to (learn how to) and access your UCSC email
- Review the Schedule of Classes
- View the Slug Videos – Enrollment and Advising
- Complete ALL "To-Do Items" in your MyUCSC portal
- Prepare for class enrollment (review the information within Parts 1 and 2 of the Orientation Course)
- On your enrollment appointment date, enroll in fall quarter classes
- When you have been assigned your enrollment appointment, view it by logging into MyUCSC, going to the Student Center, and looking at the "Enrollment Dates" section on the right-hand side. Click the "Details" link to see information on appointment times and the number of credits in which you may enroll.
- Become familiar with the Academic and Administrative Calendar
- Review and understand the Principles of Community and the Student Handbook
- Review financial aid information via MyUCSC
- Learn how to pay your bill
- Visit the Getting Involved website
- Check your UCSC email and MyUCSC portal multiple times during the week
- Check your Housing Portal for updates on housing (if you applied)
- Attend Fall Welcome Week in September
