Virtual Advising Days – August 4-8
Your academic advisor(s) are available during the entire week of Virtual Advising Days. Your advisor(s) may send you an email that will explain how you can join a group informational session, make an appointment to meet with them virtually, or it may provide instructions on how they will be available to you during Virtual Advising Days and beyond.

I am a newly admitted first-year

  • You will receive an email invitation from your college advisor.

College advisor details:
  • Make every effort to join a college advising session to learn how to plan your first quarter.
  • Join your college advisors during the week of August 4-8. An invitation to the session times will be emailed from your college advisors.

Note: If you are a Molecular, Cell & Developmental Biology (MCD Bio) student, your advisor wants you to visit the MCD Bio Newly Admitted Student page to receive instructions on the MCD Bio New Student course.

I am a newly admitted transfer student

  • You will receive an email invitation from your major advisor.

Major advisor details:
  • Follow the instructors provided by your major advisor via email.
  • Your major advisor will communicate with you directly, most likely via email, to explain how and when they will be available to you (transfer student).
Note: If you are a Molecular, Cell & Developmental Biology (MCD Bio) student, your advisor wants you to visit the MCD Bio Newly Admitted Student page to receive instructions on the MCD Bio New Student course.
