Music undergraduate advisor will be going over Major and Minor programs/requirements, as well as classes to take in Fall to begin these programs. The advisor will also discuss opportunities for non-majors (such as lessons, ensembles, and GE courses), and will also be going over information regarding the Theory Placement Exam, happening immediately after the Orientation.

Presentation will be in-person only, but a recording of the presentation, along with the presentation slides, will be made available on our website (music.ucsc.edu) shortly afterwards for those that cannot attend in-person.

The Music Theory Placement Exam will not have any makeup opportunities - if you need to take a theory course in Fall, please plan to take the placement exam on this day.
