COVID-19 Information

As we continue to navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our priority is to provide information you need to plan for your future transition to UC Santa Cruz.

The global COVID-19 situation did impact (and will continue to impact) campus operations and cause disruption in daily life, as it has for many communities across the world. A lot has changed over the past month; communities, states and countries around the world are consumed with countering the continued threat of the coronavirus pandemic.

Still, amidst this uncertainty, UC’s support for its students has remained.

We will continue to update this page with current information as we receive direction from the campus. Our goal is to provide you with current information that will help you make decisions during these historic times.

Housing Message (as of April 29 2020):

The campus is following health and safety guidelines while working toward making critical decisions for the coming academic year, including what impacts this crisis may have on our university housing and dining operations in the fall. We are actively assessing what housing availability will be in the fall, and will provide updates as soon as new information becomes available.
